We’ve all seen the headlines in the news, online and everywhere. It amazes me on how we have become so callus and judgemental toward one another. Could it be related to the concept God gave us called free will to make our own choices? So when we don’t agree with what others do with this gift, we become the pompous Christians everyone has come to love and know so well.

Who are we to judge what she does, where she lives, who she’s with, and how she spends her money? Who cares if she has millions? Who cares if she jumps in the ocean with someone she cares about? Nothing can take away the pain she must be feeing for the loss of her son. No amount of money could ever replace that kind of pain.  She lost her son, like so many others have…compassion vs. pompous? Think about it…who was compassionate and pompous at the cross?
