Prosperity doesn’t always relate to material belongings. We are blessed with much more. Family, friends, children, pastors, teachers, and angels cross our path to prosper our lives, not with money, but with the insight they provide for our lives. God never promised us that we would gain monetary wealth if we followed Him. He promised to provide for our needs. Be content with what you have: For the more you obtain, the more you’ll give; the more you give, the more you’ll receive. His promises are true. Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? James 2:5.
